1. FDA-Approved vs. Non-FDA-Approved Products
 

Some products — including certain soft hyperbaric chambers and other wellness technologies — may be FDA-registered but not FDA-approved.

• FDA Registration means the manufacturer has notified the FDA of the product’s existence.

• FDA Approval means the product has undergone rigorous testing and evaluation, and has been deemed safe and effective for its intended medical use.

It is important to understand the distinction between the two.
 

2. Hyperbaric Chambers & Off-Label Use
 

The FDA has approved soft hyperbaric chambers operating at 1.3 ATA specifically for treating altitude sickness.

Any use beyond this — such as for general wellness, athletic recovery, performance, or managing chronic conditions — is considered off-label use.

• Off-label use means using a product in a way that is not approved by the FDA.

• While this is not illegal, the FDA has not evaluated the safety or effectiveness of chambers for these additional applications.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific FDA-approved product:

• The FDA has not evaluated the products or statements on EverydayHyperbaric.com.

• Our equipment, including The Greater Orb of Healing, is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
